At Key Deer Consulting we have over 45+ years compliance experience in the insurance industry. Our experience ranges from Product Compliance, Product Filings with state insurance departments and lenders, Company Licensing, Regulatory Research, and Marketing Reviews.  

We provide compliance support for Credit Insurance Products, Service Contracts & Limited Warranties (auto & consumer goods), and Property & Casualty Products.

Whether you need support with designing a product or with your entire filing project, we are here to assist.  We are your flexible remote team that can provide as much support as you need.  All projects are important and add value to your company but do not also require additional staff, and that is where we can assist. Let us be the additional staff for all your projects big or small.

The Team

Dawn Ronan - President

Prior to Dawn starting Key Deer Consulting, LLC she has worked in the insurance industry for the past 30+ years. Her most recent position was Vice President of Compliance with Fortegra Financial.  She also worked with Allstate Dealer Services, JM Family Enterprises, Captiva Consulting and Independent Fire Insurance Company.  Dawn held the position of Treasurer on the Guaranteed Asset Protection Alliance (GAPA) Board for the past nine years.  Dawn's compliance experience has given her the understanding of what is necessary to have a robust compliance team.  

Rome Shubert - Vice President

Prior to Rome joining Key Deer Consulting, LLC he has worked in the insurance industry for the past 15+ years. His most recent position was Director, Compliance with The Fortegra Group, Inc., where he oversaw the warranty channel business, including Automotive, Consumer Goods, Home Protection and Wireless programs. He began his career working at Allstate Dealer Services and has also worked at National Auto Care.  Rome also served on the Guaranteed Asset Protection Alliance (GAPA) Board for the past three years.  Rome's compliance experience has given him the understanding of what is necessary to ensure all aspects of the product compliance, including state filing requirements and automotive product lender requirements. 

He attended the University of Central Oklahoma..
